This renovation on the iconic Eastern Head in Knysna was a superb design by Xeno-Urban Architects, the property sits on an exceptionally steep slope, steeper than a legal staircase, that resulted in endless architectural and engineering challenges. Building on Eastern Head is no simple task. The terrain demanded innovative thinking, especially as several existing structures had to be carefully adapted and incorporated into the new vision.
